Worst match up for Wilder?

Well, I would love to see Wilder v David Tua.
Wilder would get sparked out.

 

i thinks he takes Tua out wilders long and deceptively fast

 

Inoue. Fast hands, small target, equally powerful, much more handsome, it's a nightmare on bum street.

 

Ruiz or mike hunter

 

Kind of an open ended question...
We all agree Wilder can be outboxed, so that opens the door for a lot of bad matchups...
Of course wilders KO power is the real story....it will keep him in every fight right up until the final bell, and make him a dangerous opponent to anyone in the division.
Most people will probably say Fury, because he outboxed Wilder in the first fight....but Wilder proved in that fight that you'd better be able to box masterfully for 12 full rounds, cause the second you get sloppy its lights out!
I honestly believe that the rematch follows same path as original fight, with Fury getting the better of Wilder only to get dropped late (and stopped this time).
Wilder put a crack in Fury 's jaw that will only soften his punch resistance for the next time around.

 

Wilder can also take a punch quite well, much better than most 209 pound 6 foot 7 guys.

There's literally so many fighters that would be horrendous matchups for Wilder that it's hard to narrow the field down TBH.

I'd say Lennox would be the "Worst" matchup ever. Someone he doesn't have a real height or reach advantage over, is physically bigger and stronger, has a far better jab, a better and more educated right hand, far better footwork and can beat him on the outside or inside. My God imagine Lennox landing his uppercut on Wilder

 

Prime Vitali and prime McCall. Wilder can´t beat who he can´t hurt.

 

Ruiz would take him to the cleaners Joshua style.

 

Late 90s Ike Ibeabuchi would smash any current HW into a coma.

 

Anybody with a pulse.

 

Tbh Lewis would be in danger getting koed cold by wilder. Lewis is better in almost every aspect of the game, but wilder is way faster than lewis and has enough power to end lewis early.
I don't rate wilder as a good champ, but his power, strange angles and fast hands are a threat for almost everyone.

Wlad is one of the worst match ups for wilder, he was faster than wilder in his prime, and would ko wilder when ever he decides to do it.

A lot of you will disagree, but vitali even as tough as he is will be similar to lewis, his hands are not as fast as Wilders and he could get clipped hard.

Fast technical guys will be tough for wilder:

Hide
Haye
Wlad
Holmes
Tyson
Usyk

Lewis and vitali would be the favourites but there is a bigger Chance they get clipped and hurt real bad.

 

He certainly has a chance but Wilder doesn't have the same flaws Ruiz exploited in Joshua. Wilder carries his power and is aggressive for 12 rounds whereas Joshua gets winded when pressed or buzzed. Wilder's chin appears to be solider than Joshua's (which I would have never guessed. Also he is less predictable than robotic Joshua.
