    British or not, hope Kovalev stops him emphatically. Can’t stand Tunde/Yarde/Lions in the camp crap

    Said this on another thread , where is the promotion for this fight?

    A press conference? Some interviews about it from Yarde’s camp? Some adverts on TV? It’s poor. If Yarde pulls it off , what an upset but what’s the point if there isn't a wider audience watching it? BT only seem to promote PPVs.

    its not their show so they dont really need to promote it, Yarde gets paid either way

    I get that mate, but do we not want as many people as possible watching this potential upset? This is his time to prove to everyone what he’s about and nobody’s gonna have a clue.

    Yeah Yarde gets paid either way, but a bit more promotion on this fight and Yarde can get paid a lot more further down the line.

    Yarde could be a big name if he's promoted right. He's got the look, can talk a bit and has a high KO % (albeit vs limited opposition). But if he KOs Kovalev and nobody sees it, he'll get less money and struggle for opponents in the future.

    Maybe Yarde is in the last fight of his deal with Frank and that’s why there’s not much promotion. In any event Yarde is not a big name yet in British sport so there’s not much Frank Warren can do here in the way of promotion. It’s a fight for boxing fans rather than casual sports fans and the boxing fans won’t be missing this one.

    He could and probably should be. However he’s promoted by old fish eyes, and when was the last time his promoting made someone a big name?

    Kovalev will test his chin and I believe will break his chin, Yarde is relatively easy to hit, Kovalev can punch, I don't see it lasting that long.

    Middle rounds at most. Yarde just has not got the pedigree, the only chance he has is if Kovalev takes him lightly or Kovalev has got old, very old over night.

    Also we are in Russia, Yarde isn't getting any favours over there, they will do all they can to disrupt him and make his time there as miserable as possible.

    They will use every trick in the book and a few more, in my opinion it's a mistake going to Russia, a huge mistake.
