No doubt about it. Marquez had great all around skills and stamina.

 

As if that one KO trumps everything else. Of course Canelo hasn't KO'd someone of that magnitude, but that's hardly the be all end all of the comparison. Besides Pac-Man walked right into that punch. It was well-timed by Marquez, but he hasn't had the kind of seek and destroy KO's that Canelo has had. Canelo is a much more versatile fighter than Marquez ever was. A bigger more dynamic puncher, uses more upper body movement, etc. Marquez is a much more basic fighter than Canelo.
