Not happening in the U.K. despite all the posturing from Hearn.

Adam Smith just interviewed AJ on SSN and they pretty much confirmed it will be in Cardiff. Talked about how the 80,000 crowd will play a factor and energise AJ.

If Eddie has the rematch clause locked down then I fully expect It to be in Cardiff.
I'm surprised it hasn't been announced yet but that's probably down to Haymon trying to squeeze some advantages for ruiz out of the deal.

I’ve read the article. He’ll fight Ruiz anywhere, Ruiz could even have his uncle refereeing and he’d still beat him....but he wants it in Cardiff. **** off.

Lol I get what he's doing, but would be much easier if he just came out and said I gave him a voluntary in his country, now he needs to fight in mine. Instead of spouting contradictions each sentence he makes.

That's exactly what AJ said, I thought I'd missed something at first.

I am the big A side ,the man in the Heavyweight division what i say goes but Ruiz is champ so i respect that and will fight him somewhere neutral but i want it in Cardiff!!!! wtf is he talking about???

The same as Hearns interview- Listen Ruiz has signed the rematch clause and we hold all the rights to where we fight but we dont want a law suit and Cardiff is front runner.....

The bs is real.....AJ wants Cardiff but its not happening there if you read between the bs lines

What happened to AJ wanting to 'right the wrong at the MSG'

Bernard Hopkins was on satellite radio yesterday and texted Eddie for an update (BHop does the A shows on dazn) and he said Eddie responded that it would be a neutral site.

AJ banging on about his 'British fans', didn't care about them when he was going to crack America.

Nope. There is a clearly a Stalingrad-tier battle going on here between Haymon and Hearn to decide where this is going to be held, if at all.

Threadly reminder that Hearn has been saying for weeks that the confirmation "will be in the next 48 hrs."

I bet Adam Smith & sky ain't too happy.
Their losing all the best British fighters so Eddie can put them on DAZN and now it looks like the golden goose is getting necked because Eddie screwed up the rematch clause.
