Would you like him to "turn heel" or would you just call him more fake then etc..? I would absolutely love it. Nobody seems to remember the Miller fight buildup. He said: "Miller is little ***** and I will knock him the **** out" He has never talked like that to any opponent. I think it was great and so unexpected too Too bad the fight never happened. But yeah, I want to see more of that mean side. If he fights against Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte again, Im pretty sure we´ll see that side more and more and then he just explodes finally and turns into Devil-Joshua or something.
We need the mean Joshua back in time for Xmas, otherwise I have my doubts he wins the rematch. AJ has let the media trained/directed mask slip once or twice with Breazeale, Whyte and Miller and he's gonna need that vicious edge..... UNLEASH THE DARKSIDE... or call it a day
AJ has been successful so far being himself. If he tries to put on an act, it will only look fake and lose him fans.
He certainly has that side too. He should use that side more outside of the ring too like he did in Miller build up. Inside of the ring he has always been mean.
But the thing is...I dont think it is an act. If it is, he is damn good actor to be honest and I want to see those great acting skills then
I don't like Ruiz's constant bellyaching since winning the title saying all the things he apparently isn't going to do. You signed a contract, honour it and if you win which so many people think will be easy then move on as champ. He's not acting like a man confident of winning the rematch regardless of what he's saying.
Yeah, wasnt it in last Xmas when he was full of dark energy too. He was asked what hes doing in Christmas and he just said he wants to smash heads or something xD Bring in Fury, Wilder and Whyte...I want to see the build ups and those matches. Those three can summon that Devil-Joshua.
Yep, to me Ruiz seemed like a real nice guy before the victory, but now with those demands and stuff...I dont know. I think he is disappointed how he didnt get that BIG attention after all. Everybody is still talking about Joshua Joshua Joshua. And probably the talk will continue if Joshua loses again. In peoples minds Joshuas loss was the thing, not Ruiz´s victory.
It reminds me of Rahman post the Lewis upset. He acted like he didn't sign a contract and have to fight Lewis next. He kept saying stupid things and then got his ass whooped in the rematch. Now the context of the rematch in light of how their original fights went is very different and Ruiz should be more confident than Rahman but he's acting very similarly IMO.
It wasn't an act with Miller. It would be an act if he was like that more often, regardless of opponent.
