Foreman turned down BIG money to fight Holmes back a couple of decades ago, for one reason because he already had so much. Not sure why he'd feel the need to take this up either, especially at his age.

George doesn't have anything to prove and hasn't since being despicably robbed of his second title. If money isn't a factor....well, there isn't anymore glory to training Joshua than winning the lineal title twice.

 

I think Joshua better get his mind right...just watching this video I predict he's going down earlier in the next fight. First time seeing him anything less than confident, and he definitely ain't looking like a future champion lately.

Sounds like AJ is severely shaken.

There's a very straightforward way for him to beat Ruiz ... the Klitschko blueprint. But maybe it's not so easy to implement as Wlad made it seem.

 

Foreman will be as useless as a trainer, coach, advisor and cheerleader as Lennox Lewis has been over the years. Great heavyweight boxers are usually just that, great heavyweight boxers and should just leave it at that.

 

I think Joshua trying to be quick on his fight while carrying all of that muscle is part of the problem. Archie Moore made Foreman’s footwork extremely efficient so he didn’t waste energy.

If Joshua wants to keep carrying the muscle he does he needs to be more efficient with his footwork, sine it would help him conserve his energy. Foreman can also help polish up Joshua’s infighting and uppercut, which could’ve helped him against Ruiz.

Foreman himself going into the 1st Frazier fight admitted that Joe Louis helped him polish up his uppercut and promised him that Frazier would be a sucker for it, which he was. Foreman can do the same for Joshua if he’s willing to learn.

 

I believe this was all on Joshua, not McCracken. McCracken was giving him the most basic of instructions in the corner after round three, but Joshua didn't seem to possess the nous to implement those basic instructions.

 

In the rematch, Andy will carry on right where he left off.
