How does Floyd do against some of the best of the 80s heavyweights as well as some well known contenders of that decade?

    Larry Holmes
    Mike Tyson
    Mike Weaver
    Pinklon Thomas
    Jose Ribalta
    Gerrie Cortzee
    Gerry Cooney
    Marvis Frazier
    Tyrell Biggs
    Carl Williams

Patterson vs Marvis should be a fun fight, but Patterson should stop him around 8 or so

Larry, Mike, Pinklon, and Carl beat him. Weaver Ribalta Coetzee Frazier lose to him. Cooney and Biggs is a tossup, especially Biggs, because I could see Tyrell beating Floyd, but then the older version I could see losing to Floyd.

At his best I'd favour him over all but Tyson and Holmes. Weaver and Cooney would be 50-50s, Thomas and Biggs have chances but I'd make Patterson a 60-40 type favourite and a large favourite over the rest.

That's if he showed up at his peak (Moore fight imo) against all of them. Although they all have a punchers chance.

Out of all the fantasy heavyweight fights I want to see, Floyd Patterson vs. Marvis Frazier is somewhere near the bottom of the list.

Floyd would have him out in a few minutes unless he felt sorry for him. Jeez, such disrespect for an ATG.
