At this point in time a 2nd loss to Ruiz Jr would nearly end AJs career

If he was to lose the rematch, then it would be a long hard road back into contention.

The best thing for boxing overall is for AJ to win the rematch, because AJ is a bigger name and brings more fans and money into the sport.

    Boxing is a business

The bigger the pie, the better it is for everyone. For the boxers themselves, you dont willingly go into a career where you get punched in the head for a living unless you are getting rewarded for it

Negative. He brings nasty fake **** to the sport. Like the Eddie Chambers DM’s for instance. The sport doesn’t need that. It also doesn’t need lab experiments on top with his backers making sure his opponents are as clean as a preachers sheets.

I’m a bit tired of AJ to be honest, I’m ready to give up caring about whether the wilder fight will happen. They avoided each other for so long I have lost interest. I am very glad Ruiz won because of this joke of a situation, the best avoiding each other even though the division, that has been a joke for years is desperate for these fights. They don’t care about the sport and it’s reputation, so let the real fighters come up and take over the division.

I don’t solely blame AJ but he and his team are a big part of it and protecting the golden goose, protecting him on home turf. I’m also tired of AJ droning his platitudes, even in loss he has that condescending arrogant tone, the fake press events, the manufactured corny quotes. I find it all a bit phoney so would be happy to see Ruiz win again. It’s not like Ruiz isn’t an exciting fighter either.

We're closer than ever to effectively derailing this **** train, the best chance since Wlad failed the entire universe, a chance that may not come again any time soon, and people actually want Joshua to win the rematch. For the record, yes, Ruiz is a hypocritical blubbery simpleton who will become more and more unbearable with the money and attention. But please let's think of the bigger picture.

Yes! The Ruiz story was fun, but now he is acting like a chump. He is acting like he has all the power in the negotiations because he is the champion, forgetting that he already signed a contract before the first fight. Joshua will be favored in the fight. I hope he wins and will face the winner of Fury/Wilder (assuming that happens).

AJ is going to beat Ruiz in the rematch. He won't fight the same way as he did last time. If he gets hit cleanly by Ruiz in the rematch then he will find the ways to survive. I don't think that he's stupid enough to exchange punches with Ruiz while he's getting hurt like the last time he did.

It is kind of disappointing that we lost the Fury-Wilder-Joshua trinity.

It would be great if AJ won the rematch, and then get completely dominated by Wilder or Fury.

Although, considering the disaster this was for Hearn, Hearn will probably do his best to keep Joshua far away from Wilder, Fury, or any other big threats.

Yeah, if AJ wins, he's definitely going to duck as much as he can.

Therefore, I have to hope AJ loses the rematch.
