I think AJ stops him late. Fights a more cautious fight and avoids getting clipped. We know Joshua’s power usually carries right through so I see him taking Ruiz out around 9/10 maybe whilst being behind.

    AJ PTS

He will put in a safety first type performance similar to the Parker fight and will put all the Shiekhs to sleep on their comfy chairs.

With Andy he needs the Sheikh and Vac to put the freshness back.

I don't see Ruiz jumping on him early to be honest, I expect him to be a little cautious early on they both will be.

What I do see happening is calculated pressure from Ruiz, to the point Josh will have to open up, and when he does it will be all over.

I've been wrong more than I've been right this year. So take it with a grain of salt

But I think Ruiz has his number.

AJ wins, he’ll want to prove he’s back! He could fight a boring cautious ud but this time around I think it’ll be a calculated beating and stoppage

AJ via ko in 6 rounds

It could go either way but I've got to go for the fighter with the greater speed, intelligence, chin and gas tank - which is quite clearly Ruiz.

Joshua late stoppage after boxing safety first. Ruiz could come at him early which would make him slight favourite but then he still runs a massive risk of getting knocked out himself. I think it’s Joshua’s fight to lose, as the first one was. He has enough advantages to win this if he doesn’t allow himself to be dominated and virtually quit.

AJ comes in lighter, Ruiz comes in heavier and its normal service resumed as AJ catches him earlier than many are expecting. AJ by KO 3 #andnew

Nistor, Ruiz, Povetkin (first 4 rounds), couldn’t put Takam away. If rumours are true, 5”10 Joe Dawejko starched him. Joshua is a brilliant athlete who learned how to box from 18. Capable of KO’ing any heavyweight, but he is so stiff and rigid that he is susceptible to being hurt by small, mobile heavyweights.

This isn’t getting fixed in 5 months. Ruiz is coming into this rematch with an extra 20-30% belief knowing that not only is he the world champ, but that he can put Joshua under so much pressure that he takes a knee and spits the gum-shield out.

Joshua hasn’t got the manoeuvrability or the ring IQ to fight on the back foot and negate Ruiz with the jab. He’s ****ing massive, he’s hardly ever had to. He normally holds centre of the ring and knocks fighters out almost all the time. He doesn’t know how to deal with a smaller, faster, mobile fighter ducking, weaving, cutting that distance and putting it on him.

Ruiz is going to put a war on him.

    Ruiz TKO.

Almost made me change my mind in one post I think there! Hahaha. I’m not fickle either, well done.

Ruiz should be far fitter next time. That is also a big factor.

AJ can't get out of the way of a Ruiz onslaught. Three, four, five, six punch combinations that are fast and coming from different angles. His feet just don't move quick enough to get out of harms way and when it comes, and it will come, he will falter. I believe he's met his kryptonite.

Haha, thanks mate. Incredibly, Ruiz purposely put on an extra stone for the fight with Joshua. Apparently, he is very fit cardio wise and can do the long runs easily. I find it difficult to fathom but facts are, he wasn’t blowing out of his backside in that first fight. In fact, i’ve never really seen him blowing.

Joshua looks fantastic...but personally, I believe he is built in a similar mould to Haye in that he is explosive in short bursts. He is never going to throw shots for 3 mins a round.
