Mine is Corey T Rex Sanders vs Wolgrammm. Sanders pulled off a minor upset in an entertaining brawl between two huge fringe contenders. I have the fight on dvd, not sure if it's on YouTube, but if it is I highly recommend it. The ending of the fight is hilarious and worth watching the rest of the fight alone.
I think Wolfgramm retired after this fight a short career for a Superheavyweight Olympic Silver medalist.
I wonder how T Rex Sanders is in retirement, I heard a few years ago that sadly he is blind in one eye that was badly cut in his brawl with Andrew Golota, which was another entertaining fight.

That was a damn good fight between two fighters that are no longer with us. I thought Gonzalez was the more talented of the two but damn Letterlough could crack!

Absolutely brilliant fight, a hidden gem if there ever was one.

Gonzalez showed unbelievable heart in the 11th. I think he definitely fought the wrong fight, he though he could steamroll Letterlough after the first 30 seconds.

Sad to hear about them both not being with us, I know Gonzalez fight Jones afterwards but I don't know what was made of there careers. How did they die?

I remember watching that fight live on ESPN. I think I knew that Letterlough was no longer with us, but Gonzalez' death escaped me.

According to Boxrec, Letterlough was shot in the back while leaving a bar with his wife in 2005. Gonzalez was killed by a drunk driver while riding his motorcycle in 2012.

That's sad, both men deserved better.

I forgot all about this but Gonzalez was the guy that beat Michalczewski ending his long reign as WBO lightheavyweight champ. He actually was the Lineal champion before losing the belt to Glen Johnson who went on the KO Roy Jones.

    Oh ****. Your right

At least he became Lineal, he's physically apart of a line of great champions

David Walker against Spencer Fearon, 2003. Only at British Areas Masters title level, but damn, what a crazy fight.

Also, not sure if this one quite qualifies, as the victor here must have been top-ten ranked (or very close) at the time, as he got a title shot a year later, but I have to throw it in there: Caveman Lee against John Lo Cicero, 1981. Ridiculous slugfest. And I do mean ridiculous!

I'd say so, both were unranked at the time I think. I love Mickey Ward.

Another guy who had some devastating knockouts was Darnell "Ding a Ling Man" Wilson. I can't remember the opponents names though.
