In addition to the final being long overdue per the original agreement, Comosa repeatedly failed to put Prograis’ purse in escrow by the mandated dates. In addition, DiBella and Prograis allege that Comosa made the offer for October 5th with full knowledge that DAZN had not approved the date, calling it an intentional “stalling tactic” as Comosa looked for additional funding sources. Further, Comosa’s newest offer would put the Taylor fight on September 28th, which when combined with the WBSS-mandated publicity obligations, would leave Prograis with just a six-week camp. “Comosa’s continuing failure to perform [is] holding [Prograis’] career hostage and keeping him in limbo. Put simply, Prograis is being kept off of a very lucrative boxing market by Comosa, which upon information and belief, cannot finance the rest of its tournament and is in violation of its obligations under the Escrow Agreement... [Therefore,] DBE and Prograis seek a declaration that Comosa has not complied with the Escrow Agreement and cannot [do so]. Further, Plaintiffs seek a declaration that Prograis is free and clear of his obligations to Comosa and can pursue his career outside of the WBSS immediately.” Either pay that man or free him and let them make Prograis/Ramirez.
If they are not paying what was promised then i can understand why he pulled out. Sucks for us fans but at the end of the day this is business.

I dont think we'll see another series of the WBSS. The wheels seem to be coming off more and more. So many delays and money problems. Its a nice idea, but it doesn't seem to have the backing it needs.
