AJ has been called robotic like Bruno following his loss to Ruiz, but was Bruno really at that level? Could he have done better against Ruiz than AJ did?

Not a lot of difference between Bruno and AJ, BUT, Ruiz still has a lot of unknowns, 50/50 as of now

Recent disappointments not withstanding, Joshua was clearly a level or two above Bruno.

That does not however mean that anybody who beats the worst Joshua, should necessarily be picked to beat the best Bruno.

Upsets are by their nature often aberrations.

Between his fights with Joshua and Parker, you might be justified in making Ruiz the favorite at time of writing.

AJ is far more skilled than Bruno was and he`s a lot taller.

Bruno had a better jab than AJ and would keep Ruiz off him until those muscles started to drain his tank.

    I don’t think that’s clear at all.

Joshua was NOT a level or two above Bruno . If anything he may have been a level or two below.

This. Bruno starts strong and then is caught somewhere between the 5th-8th round. Ruiz is too fluid and sturdy and gradually grinds Bruno down.

That's an interesting viewpoint considering that Joshua won gold at the Olympics, won and defended multiple titles, beat multiple top 5 heavyweights, and beat an ATG. Bruno, on the other hand, finished his career with zero title defenses, a single win over a ranked fighter, and several stoppage loses.

Bruno would topple over ever so slowly face first on the deck like a cigar store Indian after Ruiz found the range and began teeing off on him.

He didn`t, look at some of the jabs AJ landed before he floored Ruiz, his timing was better than Frank`s who missed more punches, Ruiz countered and parried AJ`s jab brilliantly and would have done the same to Frank`s.

A world champ two levels below Bruno who never successfully defended his title?
