I like Tank a lot but he is at least 2 levels below Loma. Loma has also faced and beaten the far better, more accomplished opposition of the two for over a decade. Tank doesn't bring anything to the table Loma hasn't seen before. The same cant be said of Loma. I can't see this going past 8, I think Loma frustrates Tank to the point he makes a fatal mistake in there that Loma pounces on or Tank quits on his stool in between rounds. Does Tank even have a fight under his belt at LW?

Lol ..... Loma in his very first fight won 7rds off Salido and got robbed by the judges and ref.

Anyways, who cares, take today's Loma and put him in that ring and Salido loses both eyes permanently.

Linares was massively bigger and Loma stepped straight backwards, uncharacteristicly mistake, and got dropped. He was up on his feet a half second later.....and then viciously KO'd him.

Tanks has a puncher's chance no doubt but if he doesn't hurt Loma early and get his respect he will get outboxed by Loma.

Tank has already said he will move up to 135 once he has unified. Davis has not struggled to make weight. That was simply do to not being discipline at that time. He openly admitted that.

Mayweather did not say he's not letting Davis fight Loma. What he said was that's a later fight in the future.

This is really funny. Previously you question Loma's intention to fight Tank because he left the 130 and moving up to 135. Now if he does stay in 130, how he supposed to unify if Tank and Mayweather keep saying there is no rush ? In his current class, Loma has fought three fights and about to have another one by the end of this month. Three of four of them is his campaign of a new belt added to him. Both Loma and Tank Davis talked about their goals, but only one of them actually work his way to achieve it.

Most reasonable post thus far (there are others on here but I only respect men 6’3 220 lbs and above opinions lol)

    “Big pimpin for life”

Jokes aside I give Loma a considerable edge at the moment although the Pedraza fight is an excellent indicator of Tanks surprisingly good ability to adjust, explode and dominate a superior boxer.

I said Tank wants to unify at 130 before he moves up. Tanks next fight will most likely be Farmer who has a title by the end of this year.

Both are superb fighters except Loma is more seasoned and well schooled. Tanks intro to the game was more necessity driven and that would lead me to believe he’d win a couple battles whilst losing the war. I’m not bold enough to predict a full stop quit coming from Tank...he doesn’t seem like a quitter.

Rigo wasn’t considered an elite, A class fighter?

I wouldn’t use that as the best barometer since Rigo was pushing 40 and fighting 2 weight classes above his optimal division. It was an impressive performance but let’s not take it out of context.
