His left hook may have been the shortest in history, that`s where the power came from, devastating and I used to doubt Louis`s power!

 

Yes at 175 but his punches weren`t as short in his second bout v Holy maybe that`s why he lost power ay heavy, he was out of condition in that rematch too though and at first at heavy his body was slimmer and the power was there against Cooper but then he put on some pounds and his punches had less effect.

 

That`s interesting because D`Amato was peaking to Ali about his jab landing easily on DAempsey because it would travel less distance than usual because Dempsey`s dipped his head forwards often, which is why Tunney`s jab was a problem for him.

 

Thanks, I checked out Donaire`s punches on this study and yes they are short as hell, probably where their power comes from.
