Top Rank offered Terence Crawford the best financial package and the opportunity to be the marquee fighter (alongsideon a major network. PBC didn't try hard to sign Crawford because they didn't want Crawford KOing Spence and killing their future golden goose.
Spence is not ducking Crawford, He has a plan for his career and he is executing it. Crawford is on his radar but not right now, because he has very credible big money fights on his side of the street that he intends to take full advantage of. I feel bad for Crawford but he let Bob trick him into signing that BS contract. He should have had enough sense to see what happened with Mayweather, Mikey and eventually Pac. Bob is a dead end street. That's not Spence's fault. Why should Spence bail him out when he has all these lucrative big fights in front of him. He will get to Crawford, but on his terms and nobody else's.
Spence has more options than Crawford does period. Crawford has limited options at 147 by signing with Top Rank. Lastly if Crawford signed with Haymon why would they care if he beat Spence? That makes no sense. He has both fighters it's a win win for Haymon.
Because Spence is more marketable than Crawford. Spence has the Mayweather sparring rumor and he's from Texas. Olympic backstory as well. Crawford has even less of a personality than Spence and he's from Omaha, Nebraska.
