AJ needs to be careful Lennox just might challenge him. That would be hilarious give Lennox a good camp & he'd kick AJ'S ASS NOW!!!!

 

Lewis was a great champ. But he's a horrible commentator and does come across as a clown.

 

The bodybuilder has had his senses scrambled and doesn't know where to direct his anger. Lennox was going to train this fool. But the bodybuilder spat in his face, and ignored the advice of Deontays former mentor.

 

No one really cares about Lennox in the UK. He was never truly accepted here. Guys like Bruno and Eubank are much more popular.

 

That maybe but none of them hold a candle to Lewis's career.

 

Yes but the guy was saying Lewis is jealous of AJ's popularity in the UK and I was saying that Lewis was never hugely popular here.

He was born in London, spent most of his childhood and early adult years in Canada, had a Canadian accent, most of his big fights were in America, he now lives in Jamaica. He can't complain about not being big here.

I think AJ should listen to the constructive parts of Lewis's critiques. Lewis was in Aj's shoes twice in his career and was smart enough to get the best help he could. Brave enough to face his professional demons, Good enough to reverse his ko defeats, and go on to be a HW ATG..
All that and I don't find his style that engaging.

Why on earth would Lewis be jealous of a quitter and a fighter that never beat a champion to win their belts?

What has AJ accomplished that Lewis hasn't?

When did AJ become undisputed champion?

When did AJ fight and win outside of his home country?

Or is the argument that he's jealouse that Joshua has more instagram followers from casual morons because that's the only he has over Lewis

 

I’m a fan of AJ but this made me lose respect for him, LL is a ATG and top 3 best heavyweights ever, if not the best. AJ should know his place, especially after his last fight

 

Lol yeah I'm sure Lennox Lewis is really jealous of AJ. Some AJ fans are really deluded.

 

Course he ain’t jealous of him now that he’s lost but before that there’s no doubt that Lewis didn’t like Joshua because of how popular he was becoming with the British public who seem to embrace with a warmth that they never gave him when he was fighting. With every victory and ever increasing paydays, the Joshua brand seem to be getting bigger and it’s only natural that Lewis would feel some resentment that he achieved far more in his career but got nowhere the same acclaim or acceptance with the British public. Don’t forget Lewis is a proud man with a giant ego and remember how much he hated the fact that Bruno was far more popular with the British public than he was even though he was by far the better fighter. Went even as far as calling Bruno a Uncle Tom which didn’t go down well with the brits at all.

AJ doesn't question Lewis' achievements or his greatness. He criticizes his character. If AJ said Lewis was average fighter, he would look like idiot, because everyone knows Lennox was great fighter. But far from the best human being and that is Joshua's point
