    Sorry mate i was actually referring tongue in cheek as to whether you might now consider it to be Duran or Leonard with an unspoken reference to the current who is greater thread between the pair.

    For me, one of the three greatest welterweights of all time.

    A complete fighter who is also that rare combination of an artist in the ring who is exciting to watch. He was a man whose achievements were impossible not to respect and had a style that was easy to love.

    Beautiful boxer.

    One of the very best to ever do it.

    I remember being on this forum farewelling Willie Pep and Max Schmeling which is another generation again and doesn’t seem that long ago either. It shows that time doesn’t stand still for anyone and we should cherish the memory of these legends. No one is here forever.
