Why doesn't he just get a boxing internship? Work for free a couple years and build up a resume?

So it's confirmed Pulev turned down the fight, as expected. Now we await Povetkin's admission he took the easier Fury for good pay as he is about to retire.

That’s Povetkin you are thinking of. Two different fighters

None of us should be letting Fury off the hook!!!!

We must all condemn him for this crappy, crappy facade. Stunk out 2019 completely, on his high horse.

This seems to be common with Top Rank fighters.

Goes to show how little say the fighters have, acting all big and scary but they don't choose who to fight.

Classic case with Ortiz, talking a big game, saying they got lowballed by AJ... then lo and behold... "Oh it was miscommunication from our team" "we were trying reverse psycology to up the price" "Now we regret not taking it"

    All bums.

Whyte I guarantee had a say in selecting Rivas, and Parker, he knows how to put on a good show for the fans, and how to test himself against the best even if ranking and mando ain't on the line.

But fighters like Whyte get insulted, and Fury get put on a high pedestal as the wonder kid.

"There was an offer but it was not a serious one." said Ivaylo Gotsev. "We met with Bob Arum in Los Angeles. At this time we were waiting for the events between the rematch of Ruiz and Joshua."

Pulev wants to fight for world title but the offer was a joke anyway to even consider it.

I don't know why you selectively took this part out of the article.

Fury turned down Pulev fight in 2013 for IBF mandatory spot when he was ordered to fight him and few weeks ago was saying that nobody knows who Pulev is in America so he isn't going to fight him.

He also ran away from Vlad rematch as he was going to get KTFO.

I understand not taking undue risks, but Tyson Fury is going far too far.

When you consider his top 5 career wins are:
    1. Wlad.
    2. Chisora x2
    3. Christian Hammer
    4. Steve Cunningham
    5. John McDermott

    It really is shocking.

He needs to face the top contenders to build a legacy.

No one considers him to be the lineal champion still. After losing your belts because you failed a PED test + went on a drink drugs binge.

All of these top contenders are turning down fights with you because you are low balling them.

I sincerely think that Ortiz turned down the AJ fight because he was in a cycle at the time, and was scared of failing a PED test

I posted the relevant information. Pulev's manager opinion is as relevant as Eddie Hearnz on Dillan Whyte's drug test, of course he is going to be biased towards his man! The truth is they ducked Fury because they want Kownacki, an easier fight that Pulev has at least a 50% chance of winning.

To be fair he did win the rematch against Mcdermott.
