I don’t listen to anything Dwyer says Povetkin by KO. Fury doesn’t have the power to keep Povetkin off.
I would like for Pov to get the KO however I feel he is past it now, and Hughie is way too mobile to get caught clean, especially if fighting a dangerous puncher. Price practically stood infront of Pov... hughie will dance around like he's playing dodgeball as usual.
Povetkin is so much more aggressive than pulev, I don’t think Fury has enough pop to keep Povetkin off and he can’t run for 12 rounds and win. I think Povetkin drops Hughie early, the fight goes the distance and Povetkin gets robbed on the cards Is this fight for any interim belt or an eliminator? I think both are well ranked with the wbc Hats off to Hearn for making this fight and fury for taking this fight
Povetkin KO/TKO Reasoning behind this is that Hughie can’t pull another Parker performance and run without engaging at all. That would be about his only hope of going 12 and not being stopped. No promoter would put him on again, if he did that ever again. If he engages at all with Povetkin then he gets caught and stopped. Povetkin is far more skilled and will be able to counter him when he plants his feet.
I think povetkin might retire on his stool but I think Hughie SD is a lock in (Russia may back Poohvetkin is may only fear).
I think the sensible option for hughie is to attack the body in the first 6 rounds. He throws some cracking hooks to the guts. Which I feel will stop Povetkin in his tracks eventually making him a statutory target for Hughie to throw 5-6 unanswered shots to earn his first match room British stoppage.
Finally, a stoppage for Sasha. (of a rated opponent with a pulse that is...by which measure this will be his first since Pérez in 2015)
