How fighters got into boxing is can be an interesting story. In Ali's case he was angry someone stole his bike and got into boxing by hearing about it at the police station.

Suppose Ali bike was never stolen, and he did not start to box to whoop someone who tried to take his possessions.

How long does Liston stay champion?

    Who dethrones him?

    How long does Foreman reign?

And would Holmes finally get his respect being out of Alis shadow, or would he have to beat Foreman to get it?

Someones beating Sonny, not sure who, but someone is going to beat him. Then again, Foreman and Holmes may never get to be champs. Interesting scenario.

Think Liston holds the title until Frazier dethrones him circa 67.

I agree that Liston wouldn't have lasted long.

    See Tyson Douglas!

Frazier would've reigned a lot longer without the added damage he took in the FOTC. Foreman wouldn't have lost to anyone imo which actually would've detracted from his legacy because we would've missed that awesome comeback!
