The Rahman who KO'd Lewis replaces Cleveland Williams to fight Sonny Liston....can Rahman add Liston to his list of victims??

It's easy to forget A badly prepared Lewis was winning that fight easily until he got lazy and careless.

Rahman has a few moments against Sonny but inevitably he gets stopped ,I'll go for 9 rounds.

Liston by KO. Rahman is tailor made for him.

This is a good call. I think Liston would restrain due to Rahman heavy hands and use his boxing skills off the jab to beat him.

How is a solid puncher "tailor made" for someone rarely meeting modern HW power? Soothsaying?

Why "really"?? Who of this fellows was better than Rahman? 5'7" Albert Westphal, 17 losses Besmanoff/Valdez or 19 losses Howard King ?? Or maybe giving King a rematch with another two more losses just prior the title?

Folley, Machen, Williams and of course Patterson. DeJohn and Valdes are arguable, though given Valdes age it's reasonable to pick Rahman.

Rahman was a bum. Liston stops him easily.

    No Liston stops him.

Casuals really like dropping the bum moniker. It's probably the most obvious giveaway as to the status of the person who uses it to describe Champion level competitors.
