It will be all action, until Cheeseman predictably gets drilled.

I think Eddie is cashing him out on the highest payday he can get him before he gets beat by a journeyman, which is fair enough.

Don’t except a foregone conclusion in the Fitz - Cheeseman fight. Both are very capable of turning up and putting in a shocker. If Ted can get his head right with all the issues he’s been through then I beleive he can pull it off.

This is the first time he’s gong into a fight that people aren’t expecting him to win and he could thrive off that. An interesting one.

He did. I can’t imagine a fight of this standard will break the budget either.

What's the capacity and general seating view at Newcastle Arena? Are the cheap to middle range seats decent?

My mate, Larry Letdown, wants to go and provided I can get cash off him before his usual inevitable, because he is worse than useless, we will be there. North End are away to Reading that day so at least the footy doesn't clash, I would expect at least 1500 making the trip over to Newcastle from Preston.

A late Stoppage Win for Fitzy.

What's the chances on Josh Kelly being on the bill? I am presuming it'll be a NE / Northern centric card?

Should be fun, Cheeseman is going to get beaten up in my opinion. Feel for him a bit with how his career is going since that first defeat...

What happened to Fitzgerald vs Rose? Kinda pointless fight but thought it was happening.

Fitzy suffered an hand injury whilst sparring out in Tenerife so Fowler stepped in to fight Rose at a later date (early August). The original card a month or so earlier was cancelled anyway.

It's a brilliant fight but that entitled idiot Fowler thinks he has a divine right to fight the winner?!

If it wasn't a relatively high profile fight, whoever wins should just ignore Fowler and move on.

I’d personally rather Fitzgerald moves on like Groves did with Degale. A contentious defeat to Fowler and Hearn will be licking Fowler’s ring again and he’ll be struggling fighting for peanuts...sure he could beat Fowler again but personally I’d move forward rather than back.

Same. Fowler clearly thinks he somehow has the right to take on the winner - no idea why. His win over Rose proved nothing much. I think Fowler should take on Sergio Garcia or someone similar. If he beats him then I think he has more of a case to take on Fitzgerald again.

Fowler v Eggington would be an interesting fight at this stage in both careers. For different reasons.

A named scalp for Fowler which will boost his profile and confidence whilst for Eggington, maybe a last chance, even at his age (25?) to re-catapult himself forward towards fighting for the British Title despite his defeats stacking up.

Great card! Cheeseman has not looked good recently but lets not forget many looked past Fitz before he boxed Fowler and many thought Cheeseman was the best of the bunch a while ago (I certainly did). Fitzgerald can be a hit or a miss so I think this is still a very interesting fight -- but I expect Fitz to take it on points

I think on natural ability, Fitzgerald is the best of the 3 (Fitz, Cheeseman, Fowler). Fowler is seemingly the most dedicated and naturally fit - that will pay dividends.

Fitzgerald beats cheeseman either points or late stoppage. Cud b close early but cheese takes way to many clean shots which will take its toll
