Entertaining film study, Leonard said his hooks felt like lead in this fight and there was no snap in his jab, was that age? This content is protected
It was an entertaining fight due mainly to the fact that they were both past their best which meant they were slower and easier to hit than in their first encounter but it is a laughable exaggeration to label it the greatest back and forth battle in boxing history.
The greatest back-and-forth is Canzoneri vs Kid Chocolate IMO. This bout doesn't come close to that level, or their first bout. The Modern Martial Artist has some good videos, but he's not as knowledgable on boxing as he thinks he is.
Don’t be a smart ass No one watches old timers black & white vids Your showing off The modern day Boxer is better due to evolution And evolution is undeniable
Ray and Hearns showed more skill in `81 than they did in `89` though and both fighters in their primes in `81 would have beaten any welter in `89, that`s a gap of 8 years.
I think it's mostly just that calling it "The Greatest Back & Forth Battle In Boxing", is just going to get way more clicks.
you been taught WRONG, and never used critical thinking skills to question all the holes in that theory it can be disputed and more than disputed in may different ways evolution is something that was thought up by people who couldnt make it as scientists and it's true that evolutionists are not scientists but rather, mere philosphers. Darwin himself was a med school dropout If they werent in so bad need of physical evidence, the evolutionist wouldnt have gone thru the trouble of fabricating physical evidence on several different occasions including nebraska man, piltdown man, cousin Lucy (a drawing of an ape with eye whites, presented as evidence), Haekel drawings, another fraudulent drawing according to the theory, there are countless transistional forms between ape and man, but NONE OF THEM have ever shown up, whether fossil or living. WHERE ARE THEY??? LOL! that's reason enough to conclude you dont get human DNA from animal DNA and never will Darwin himself spent years cross breeding pigeons, and never got anything other than a pigeon the mutations theory, that's all made up with no science to back it up. there are no BENEFICIAL mutations known in medical science that can be named that preserve the species, then accumulate improvements in the species in order to fit some theory. That is just fantasy, not actual science the only traits that we see being inherited you see on a physical questionaire in a doctor's office ie; diabetes, cancer, athritis, asthma, etc
Boxing is evolving on a technical level like tennis, Loma doe stuff that has brought the game forwards, he is the most skilled fighter in history.
When I think back and forth I think of Bowe-Holyfield 1. Prior-Arguello I was like that in some ways, too.
