Just a thought, many fighters say that Norton was a great fighter against people who weren't power punches.
Fury doesn't have the punching power like those who Ken lost too, so I'd like to see opinions on this match up.
I believe that Norton will outwork him and can edge a decision, but it's open for discussion

Long night for Norton. Fury is great at fighting at distance, and while he's not a power puncher, he does hit hard enough that Norton can't just walk through him. He uses that 6' 9 height and that 85 inch reach to great effect. He stops Norton late.

I think Kennie takes this. Furry is not a big puncher and Kennie was able to outbox the great Ali.

Fury likes to control his opponents, Wladimir and Wilder were confused by him. The problem is that Norton is also unorthodox and he didn't give a **** about all the things Fury would do. He would attack his body and Norton's body attacks were hurtful. I'm not sure if he beat him, but right now I'd bet on it. His jab, power, defense and body shots are enough to beat Fury by decision for me.

I think this is about right. Fury imo was very much exposed by Deontay and given a gift defense. He's such a big man, yet he punches nowhere near the strength of a Foreman or Shavers.

Imo Norton would beat him with perseverance and solid shots. Unanimous decision (Fury ain't no Larry Holmes, baby).

I sure do not think Kenny and that footwork of his can catch this guy. Tyson would turn him and just pepper away with scoring punches with no power. And Norton would be 1 or maybe even 2 steps behind. cannot imagine him landing enough body shots to slow him down enough to get off the bicycle.

He did that to Ali, who even in the 70s was far quicker than Fury.

I don't get it where this notion that Fury is some kind of superfast guy comes from. He had very quick hands for his size and great upper body movement, but his legs aren't fast really. That's okey, I mean he's huge. He's not like Ali though.

I agree with this. Fury is no Ali and Norton beat Ali.Not only that, he came close to beating prime Holmes. On that basis, Norton by UD.

I really can't see a clear win here. And definitely not a Norton stoppage

To beat Ken Norton you have to back him up, Fury can't do that. In a 15 round fight Norton wears him out and takes a decision

I really am just not that impressed with Fury. Just because he is better and quicker than he looks doesn't mean he is actually super skilled or fast. Other than having a size advantage I don't see what would trouble a skilled operator like Norton. It may take Norton a few rounds to figure him out, but, once he did it would be like chopping down a big tree.
