Sergey Alexandrovich Kovalev vs. Anthony Yarde & Ilunga Makabu vs. Aleksei Papin RBR.

If Kovalev was shot he would have lost to Yarde. Thats what happens to guys when they are shot , they lose to guys they'd easily beat in their prime.

Kovalev utterly dominated Yarde for the majorly of the fight. Past is best , but he isn't shot.

 

Alvarez still has to jump 2 divisions at the same time. Which means he has to eat a lot of tainted meat

 

Canelo won`t get caught as much as Yarde did though, he has far be

tter defensive skills.

 

Excellent fight but Kovalev will not be able to sustain over 12 rounds any longer. He will gas and get stopped by TKO against Canelo in the second half of the fight.

 

I have never seen a nights boxing that good since the 10 hour card called Judgement day if memory serves back in 1997 I think. The uk card had a few world title fights ending with a Naz fight then at midnight it was over to the states for more world titles ending with Mike Tyson bout. It actually might have been the first boxing PPV we ever had in the UK and people were angry about it which I think made them put on such a great card. We've never had ppv as good since lol

He should have manned up and took the beating that was coming to him then.
Whats more embarrassing quitting or getting sparked out with a jab?

 

Because Yarde is a low output, muscle dummy with no ring IQ with a terrible corner at that.
Kov almost got stopped in the 8th.

 

Yarde vs Beterbiev is interesting, maybe? Beterbiev has tons of experience, but just like Kovalev...he's pretty old and his chin isn't anything special as Callum Johnson showed a while back. And even though Yarde clearly isn't that good, he has shown a chin which could help him against Beterbiev.

Bivol, Gvozdyk, Buatsi, Johnson...they all KO Yarde. But Beterbiev is there to be taken advantage of right now.

 

Beterbiev will sent Yarde in to a coma, no just no.

At this stage both of them are just way too fresh for Kovalev.
