If it goes to court, Ruiz will have favor unless Hearn increases his terms closer to the value of the belts.

The reality is that the titles are worth more than the derisory terms he's been offered by Hearn. Cry about meaningless contracts draw up by Matchroo, Ruiz can and will wipe his ass with it.

It is not stipulated in the contract Ruiz signed that he would have to fight in a medieval country

Not too long back, people barking as they were adament that the fight would be held in the uk because Eddie said so, meanwhile the reality was always going to be that Hearn would have to think on his feet and compromise.

However the terms and location is not reasonable for a host of reasons. In the real world away from Matchroom armchair lawyers, a judge is not going to rule in Hearn's favor and neither should he

Let's assume financially it wouldn't cost you the earth

Let's say round trip including tickets, $3000 US or 2500 UK Pounds

    Would you go ?

I would need a far more compelling reason to go to Saudi Arabia than pretty much any boxing match.

I'm still pondering if I should go to Saudi Arabia for Joshua vs Ruiz II or buy the Fury vs Wallin PPV... choices, choices...

    Ruiz Jr

''I dethroned the king June 1st and made history becoming the first Mexican/American Heavyweight Champion of the world. I’m looking forward to ending his career in the desert ''

I have no reason to doubt Ruiz's intention and ability to carry out what he intends, as for before the first fight he gave us his word that he would shock the world and cause one of the biggest upsets in boxing.

I sincerely believe that Ruiz is bound to make good on his promise once again and finally lay to rest all doubts that he is the superior fighter and boxer.

Could Matchroom not have thought of a better tagline than "Clash on the dunes"

Hearn claims to be some genius promoter and the best he can think of is "Clash on the dunes"

Ruiz better lose a ton of weight. It's gonna suck if its 38 degrees in the shade and he's carrying 30lb of blubber.

You need not worry about Ruiz.

Let us not forget he was in no top shape for the first fight after battling depression, binge eating and coming into the fight with only 6 weeks notice and still he managed to make his opponent quit

This time around he has over 3 months to train and prepare properly leaving no stone unturned. Which is why he is filled with confidence.

Be sure to know that this will be the end of Joshua and the final nail in the coffin for Matchroom boxing, with only Usyk left to keep the entire company on the life support machine.

    Possible

But does anyone here has the bookmaker odds on Ruiz melting into a puddle of chocolate and nuts?

Could do but when the guy can't even turn up to camp when it was supposed to start I have my doubts.

Completly different circumstances. His now the champ, the guy and with that comes all the nice things outside the ring. His enjoying life and I don't blame him but I have question marks on how driven he is to stay at the top?

When camp is due to start you are there ready to go. Ruiz wasn't and that isn't a good sign.

The only thing different is that he now has more time to prepare

All this questioning his professionalism and whether he is still driven is the same crap we heard about Kovalev. I warned those people that Sergey was more driven than ever before to deliver a beating in front of his family and friends.

And I'm warning you right now Ruiz is fully focused on the task at hand and the words from his trainer is simply mind games to distract from the reality that Ruiz fully committed to the cause and ready to drown AJ under the sands of the desert!
