Maybe he was hoping beating a blood relative might trigger some kind of revenge impulse in Tyson Fury? Pretty hopeless though, Tyson's too busy bruising undefeated nobodies and hoping no one asks questions.
I'd venture to say Hughie would need to show some true shades of Ali if he wanted to beat even a 40 year old Povetkin.
He's a known quality fringe contender. Come on, "the big 4" of the division right now haven't faced very many of those. Hughie would be Fury's, what, 3rd best victory?
The issue is Fury's lack of power. Povetkin is skilled at closing the distance so I think he gets him out of there fairly easily
Unless Fury's chin somehow holds up. But if Povetkin still has anything left in the tank, he should be able to take out Fury who at best is a C level fighter in my opinion
