This is exactly what it is on top of Kovalev having to possibly agree to a catchweight or rehydration clause.. Even in his own divisions there is guys around his age he won’t fight.. Even at 154 he rarely fought guys in his age group the guy is great but he took Floyds gameplan and mastered it

Canelo destroys this shot version of Kovalev. That lowlife and lowlife Oscar know exactly what there doing. Kovalev has no punch resistance anymore. After Canelo beats him he'll give G a rematch when he turns 40. Maybe by then he can beat him honestly.

Never said he was Ward, but Canelo style suits him for Kovalev. Kovalev is not prime anymore. Best chance for Canelo to take advantage.

    I most definitely don't.
But the fact still stands GGG's is a bit better than Kovalev's, in my eyes. The thing is though, Kovalev is spent. He isn't at that elite level anymore. He aged badly. The way he is now, it won't be enough to hold Canelo off. I'm not underestimating Kovalev, at all. It's still a very dangerous fight for Canelo. But my money would be on Canelo for this. He is too sound defensively for Kovalev to get to him. Kovalev would have to tire his ass out or make Canelo punch himself out as he did to Yarde. Both of the things isn't gonna happen because Canelo is much too experienced and clever at this point - is what I think anyway.

I think right now id favor Canelo over Kovalev. A lot of these former Soviet guys I truly believe are clean and solely take themselves and their skills to battle. Thats admirable but its also sucker ****. They arent willing to do and take whats necessary to beat some of their opponents. You know straight up Canelo is walking into that ring juiced into a brick **** house. He's taking every PED he can and hes the much younger fighter. Vodkalev is gonna drink a 30 pack of Miller High Life a day to counteract Canelo's PED's. Actually, with the amount of alcohol Kovalev consumes, he probably cant take any PED's without vecoming cirrotic.

You do realize it was Canelo's frst fight at the full MW limit against a real opponent right?

I'm sure Canelo is much more acclimated now after having 4 fights at MW now.

No rehydration clause and Kovalev beats Canelo.

With a rehydration clause, Kovalev will be weakened enough for Canelo to win.

Kovalev shouldn't accept a rehydration clause. They will drain his stamina and weaken his legs.
