Clearly no intention of packing it in.

Why does this guy get chance after chance?

This farce became boring a hell of a long time ago.

If he stops chasing glamour fights he might be okay. Seems to be staying in shape. Just needs to be matched well and he can be entertaining.

For some reason every time he beats a
South American taxi driver he's thrown in with a name. I've no idea why and I don't recall it happening any other fighter. It's bad for his health.

Eddie just lining him up to get his head smashed in by Gassiev or something.

Allen needs to be protected from himself. After the Price fight you would hope good people would have guided him.

You get warnings in life sometimes, to be having headaches etc pre Price. This just seems stupidity

The casuals love him. He has that persona, of the working class down to earth, underdog.
I am staggered tho, after the price fight, where everyone was concerned for his health, even Eddie alluded to him hanging them up now. He's now back fighting.

Hopefully he can afford the wheel chair ramp to the front door.

He has even changed his photo to his banged up face after Price.

I suspect he'll never face a 'name' or talent of any sort again. Good undercard filler etc.

But for his sake he should get out.

Dave Allen frustrates me a lot. I used to quite like him but I'm fed up of multiple things he does.
Firstly, the fact that he overall doesn't take his career seriously enough. You just know when he eventually retires he's gonna be one of those guys who's like, "if I tried I could have been something good, would have been well up there", which is frustrating.
Secondly, when he's like "yeah I want to fight Povetkin" and all that, which is quite frankly ridiculous and stupid, I cannot tell whether he was being serious or not there.
Thirdly, it's all the pictures of him on Instagram where he appears to be in good shape because of ideal lighting and tensing extremely hard, then he turns up at the weigh in and he still looks like he hasn't trained enough.
Finally there's also some of the sympathy seeking posts that he does, especially after a loss. I dunno why but it just annoys me.

For his sake he should maybe take a few easy fights, make some more cash then get out of there. And hopefully not waste all of his money, I heard he has money in properties anyway so he might have something to fall back on.
