cmon you cant expect everything when one guy is nicknamed chickenson. As soon as chickenson tried not to be chickenson and make just a decent defence he got stopped very badly (albeit with a nod to his age by then). It took a possible ATG to stop Kovie, different standard all together.

Well thats how is it. Being the "man" means being crowned champion of a division. Mostly all of the time it comes with the ring belt. Kovalev was neither the champion or a ring belt holder.
