    How about Loma?
Skills on a whole other level. Although he doesn't have the hardware.

Lomachenko, Crawford, and Inoue are on their way to being ATGs, Golovkin could be an ATG depending on how he finishes his career, but I don't know any currently active fighters other than Pacquiao who I would say are definitely ATGs.

GGG imo won both fights a that cancels out your “GGG lost twice” card.

Also prior to Canelo GGG ran through opponents like Crawford but in much better fashion....he wasn’t going 12 rounds with the Beltran’s and Burns of the fight game.

Also Canelo is light years ahead of anyone Crawford has faced and that includes Spence if they ever where to fight.

If you have Crawford heading there on a lot of ifs, buts and maybes then Canelo and GGG are ahead in the line also.

Honestly, the only true ATG that's active at the moment is Chocolatito and Donaire. Estrada and Loma could very well be on their way to ATG status.

This thread is very interesting, thanks for all of the responses so far. I see some fighters here who aren't even as great as Ward who are being mentioned as ATGs yet the same people who list these lesser fighters as ATGs don't rate Ward as one. How does that work?

Usyk, Kovalev, Gonzalez are ATG's. Lomachenko on his way. Crawford could get there if he fights Spence, Williams, Harrison, Hurt, Charlo, etc.

If your calling out Crawford for going the distance with Burns and Beltran as an example of why hes not ahead of Canelo. Then the same could be said with Canelo's decisions over Trout and Lara which would also rule him out of the atg talk plus his gift decisions over an old past prime GGG one of which was a draw.

If your talking about GGG which HOFs or dominant champs has he beaten? That make him atg or close to.

I dont agree that Crawford is ahead of either but at least he hasn't got questionable results and a 12 round shut out on his record like Canelo does.

He still has time to move ahead of GGG if he beats the Spences of the world but his inactivity will probably mean he wont teach those heights.

I'd say the top 3 P4P have the potential: Crawford, Usyk, and Loma. I wouldn't rate Canelo or GGG as ATG although Canelo might before his career is over (but I doubt it). GGG doesn't have enough years left. I'll give him credit for his title defenses but he doesn't really have the resume of an ATG. A first ballot HOF though.

Lara and Trout I think we can all agree are much better fighters than Burns and Beltran, this really should not be up for debate. The fact that they where top tier at 135 shows the lack of depth at the time as opposed to the quality of the fighters in question.

As for GGG he’s an ATG at 160 imo.

Agreed Lara and Trout are better but Crawford beat his men decisively. Canelo struggled against his.

So your saying GGG is already an atg, that's interesting. He had dominant performances against solid guys but hardly any real stand out names.

Pacquiao is an ATG who has got knocked out by Marquez and got humiliated by Mayweather, but undefeated GGG with a record of 41-0 and 25 title defences is not.

    **** logic
