Michael Spink s was the linear champ in 1988, when Mike Tyson challenged him, we all know the result, KO 1. What if Tyson Fury, the Current Linear champ, the one who faced Wilder, faced Mike Tyson instead.? FURY did a great job against Wilder, what about against a prime Tyson?
Fury is 6'9 260 lbs switch-hitting lineal champion. He'd destroy Mike in 2 rounds. Tyson is not Wilder.
Yep and no, but only if you believe in the linear belt, the man who beat the man etc. Spink s, like Fury now was unbeaten since beating Holmes, Fury unbeaten since beating wlad.
Didn´t we have that some time ago? Mike would mainly have to target the body, which might be enough to win a decision, since Fury doesn´t have real power himself.
Has the Wilder fight maybe altered people a opinion on a Tyson v Fury fight maybe? Maybe, maybe not. He did prove I suppose he can stagger up after a big shot, which he's guaranteed to receive from Tyson.
Fury has never destroyed anyone of note in 2 rounds in his entire career yet you would have us believe that he would destroy a prime Tyson circa 1988 in 2 rounds? Even Tyson Fury, a keen follower of heavyweight history would be laughing at the absurdity of that.
He fought the greatest athlete in HW history and still got a draw. A small 5'10 Tyson wouldn't stand a chance!
It’s Steve Cunningham. And let’s not forget that Cunningham spent most of his career at Cruiserweight and wasn’t know as a big hitter even there. But he’ll (Fury) just walk through Tyson’s fire power. I honestly don’t comment on a lot of these threads from time to time because I just honestly don’t know if people really believe the things they type or if it’s just “trolling” as the young kids say. This is coming from a Fury fan, Prime Tyson caves him in downstairs and finishes him with an uppercut.
Besides getting Cunninghams first name wrong did i not make it perfection clear that Mike Tyson stops him???
