If they're tactical about it, I think it's either a Kovalev KO early, or Golovkin late. But in reality I think plays out as a first 5 rounds shoot-out, bombs away. 50-50
Keeping it real you say?Isal and shadow, two of the forums biggest Canelo fans don't post as many threads about Canelo as you, nothing wrong with that but let's have it right, they all about Canelo aren't they? I actually think many on here have mellowed on Canelo and respect him taking on the best and his skill in the ring. You thought Golovkin won both fights and was done over,so does the majority and therein lies the answer to why Canelo cops it off folk.
If Golovkin was really that powerful, they would have moved up a long time ago. He wouldn't do a thing except get outboxed by Kovalev. A more serviceable version of Golovkin didn't destroy Danny Jacobs who shorted many of his punches that night, but still almost won. Kovalev's jab will be stuck to Golovkin face all night, en route to a UD, maybe stoppage.
Kovalev has aged badly in his last few fights. Against Yarde he almost looked featherfisted at times. Golovkin is a bit past it, but nowhere near to the same extent. In addition he's a great body puncher, and Kovalev has shown marked weakness to the body. I'd go with Golovkin by stoppage.
Golovkin goes life and death with smaller guys at his own weight and he supposed to now beat Kovalev!?!?!? Golovkin cant even grow a sack to move one division up let alone 2. Idiots
