Reading comprehension = fail. I said it was a sad joke that someone could win an Olympics bronze medal after beating two noname boxers. What part of that is so hard to understand? And yes, Usyk had a much harder draw since he had to fight Russo in the second round while Wilder fought that Moroccan.
May have been mentioned before, but my god.... "Million Dollar Crolla" is the absolute worst nickname i have ever come across based on the fact that he doesn't even use Dollars. Makes me cringe ever time i hear it. Should be changed to Pound sterling
HI again SHAD lad. Can't recall most of what I initially typed and lost..plus in a different mood when I did; but the central point was - 'Awesome' may sound corny, and dare I say it, like a cliched American exclamation of delight; but nonetheless there are no other fighters I know of with that epithet, and it scans well with Foreman. Largely as it's a near, imperfect rhyme with his name- nicely separated and broken up by the 'George' in the middle...which lessens the imprecision of the 2 words/titles not being exact rhymes. But close enough to befit and suit the fighter. Linguistic and aural sleight of hand if you will. Point accepted or not, take it easy anyway fella
There was a journeyman around my dad's age who was known locally as the Canvas Back Kid. Poor guy, he'd have almost def laid out half the guys who made jokes about him behind his back in pubs.
