According to haters, Cotto was drained to death at 145 (1 pound less than what he weighed previously), but Canelo wasn't at 152. I'm just looking for the same energy.
consistency and fewer double standards,... and cherry picking the agendas and weights to suit where it fits a certain point of view. Yeah I get that Pakk
That's just them (chili con carne mcgirt) answering those questions from the press. those are not actual stipulations for the fight to get made. So let's wait wait and see. But what I did hear from Kovalev was that he wasn't to keen on a fight for November 2nd due to it being too quick of a turnaround for him.
No one has made any offers yet and you GGGirls are already working o/t looking for ways to discredit Canelo. Lol
One fighter in particular has the most catchweight titles yet is considered ATG but Canelo may be considering it and it's frowned upon? Fans need to be consistent. I'm not against catchweights per se. That's the prerogative of the fighters. However, there should be no titles on the line for catchweights PERIOD. You should only be able to win a title if you fight at the division limits.
The somewhat faded Kovalev might still be able to beat him at 175, but at a catchweight he would be drained and wouldn't win. I don't like catch-weights. Canelo should man up and fight him at 175 or not at all.
Needs to give Rocky Fielding a call and ask him what it feels like to limit the rehydration. Then he needs to give Ghoul Geale a call and ask him what a -3lb catchweight feels like. Btw the fact McDirt said its on the table already proves he's a dirty parasite, and Duva likewise, you don't start negotiations conceding that unless you intend on selling out your fighter. Your initial position should be no, we simply can't make any more cuts, just as Duva claimed when she said he'd have cut an arm off to make 168 years ago. Scumbags!
What sucks is they are using money to buy belts. Challenge a champ at a made up weight instead of the weight limit. Wouldn't be surprise if Kovalev took the payday though.
Well I dont blame Kovalev for taking up the crippling offer, taking into consideration the monstrous payday he will receive . Huge loss of credit to Canelo and Kovalev can ride off into the sunset, having received little punishment in the process and with sacks of cash in his piggy bank
