I feel Martin Bakole would be too good for Dave Allen and do not see Matchroom making that fight as Allen, despite his limitations, has comercial value on a pay per view undercard in future. I honestly think Allen should retire though as I fear he could get really hurt against any decent heavyweight. If he does continue it should be against some featherfisted completely shot opponent who has name value.

I wouldn't even risk him against them. If Allen is serious about carrying on, which, obviously, it looks like he is, he should be getting thrown in against some Hungarian taxi driver. The money won't be as good, but he will pick a few quid and he should win without taking much damage.
Bakole is level above Price, I would say a similar level to Dubois & Joyce. Allen vs Bakole would be a total missmatch.
People saying Allen should fight Hungarian cab drivers are stupid. What would be the point of that? So Dave can get an easy payday? Allen has had chance after chance he ain't going nowhere. Blame it on Eddie, blame it on everyone else apart from the fat rhino. Oh and Bakole is levels above Price. He would make light work of Dave
I just based my opinion on what I seen over his previous fights starting with the Hunter defeat - that was a very tough opponent underestimated by many when only Usyk had beat him. He had spells in that fight when I though he was going to stop Hunter. Obviously his manager has come on here stating Bakole should not have fought that night due to undisclosed reasons. One to watch going forward but from what I have seen, he would obliterate Allen and Price.
