I have a hard time rating Mundine at this point, he seems to have forgotten that he wants to be the best and instead is fighting nobodies and retired fighters for the money!

How the hell do people keep rating abraham higher than Taylor? Based on WHAT? He knocked out Miranda -- guys, it was Edison Miranda!

    Sad but true.

I think Kessler tok his belief in himself away. The Ottke defeat could be explained by a fluke. The Siaca defeat was close and Mundine was still fairly young. However the Kessler fight can hardly be explained away because Mundine was dominated on his own soil and with Kessler being the one with back trouble leading up to the fight.

I personally wish that Mundine had never met Kessler and instead had gone on to fight Soliman, Green, Froch, Inkin. If he had done something like this he might have been very respected as p4p fighter around no. 15 or so and be a champion (perhaps unified). Next he would now have been looking at for example Abraham and top 10 p4p glory. Instead Kessler ruined him.

OK, I admit Taylor could be higher on my list too.

I like this list. You have dawson twice though and I might have winky in there over froch although i've yet to see froch fight so I dont really know if he's a protected fighter or the goods.

Because Taylor's last two fights were a: L TKO7, and a L UD which was clear. Abraham won his last two fights by KO and is undefeated.

You cannot lose two fights after looking unimpressive for a while and be above many people.

    I also am not having a go....:D

What are you chatting about? Kessler fought Mundine in Austraila and Calzaghe in Wales.

    His two most difficult opponents.

That's right and I understand your point. Nevertheless...AA is a undefeated punching machine and it is not predictable how a fight Taylor vs. AA would end. By decision it's safe to say Taylor would take the win, but would the fight go over the distance?

Much like vastly experienced and legendary Hopkins.
