Late stoppage Loma for me, probably by body shot. Once he gets on Campbell's inside it's game over. Luke isn't a great inside fighter and his size will then cease to become an advantage. I expect it to be competitive though. EDIT: I will be at the fight and WILL be providing autographs.
I really enjoy watching Campbell; he’s started to plant his feet and putting some spite behind the punches, certainly an interesting test at 135 for Loma. Can’t see what tactics they could deploy to out point him though other than rough housing him up, Salido style, with the help of a crap ref. No mas for Campbell- late stoppage.
The linares knockdown was a flash knockdown we’re loma just switched off for one second . I wouldn’t be looking at that knockdown for any chinks I n his arnour because as soon as he went down he jumped straight up and dismantled him. As for salido beating loma I just cannot see Campbell roughing loma up
Loma, stoppage! Might have a bet on round 2 -3 Think he get off on the goat thing, will want to put a show on etc. Of course could be wrong but that’s my guess !!!
I genuinely believe he'll be a tougher test for Loma than Linares was, and I rated Linares very highly back then.
1st prediction - Loma UD. 2nd prediction - Split Draw due to bad judging. Either way loma wins 8 rounds or more
Campbell will keep it long for a few rounds and put up a half decent fight. Then Loma will go through the gears, get inside and beat him up for 2-3 rounds and it will get stopped. Rd 8/9 for me.
Both Pedraza (up in weight) and Linares fared pretty well against Lomacheko. I think the odds are a bit wrong to be honest, Campbell is overpriced in this one. Factor in Lonachenkos injuries as well as Campbell being decent boxer, big and strong at the weight, he shouldn't be a 10/1+ dog. Not saying he will win but at the current odds he's value.
