Wilder/Ruiz could Unify (assuming he/Ruiz wins), which would put he/Ruiz in a good position.

Maybe its my impression but think there will be other upsets. Joshua who beats Ruiz and Wilder losing one between Ortiz and Fury. All can happen.

it probably won't be anybody right now who's active. if ruiz beats joshua then he'll lose the wbo and ibf belts and will no doubt fight wilder for a ppv fight if wilder beats ortiz and will delay the fury and wilder rematch. it's going to be a mess if ruiz wins in december.

It is hard to say . the way heavyweight is at the moment anyone's guess " could be Fury because of his size I'm very disappointed with Fury tho .
Could be Wilder he has 40 kos an da best left right in da division .
Ruiz if he was at his best wit AJ , we know AJ was at his worst not sure if Ruiz can or can't . Fury is a different fighter now lost a bit I think . Wilder has
Got a bit better . When Fury tag's Wilder Fury just back peddle's to Fast because of that . I think Wilder will be last man standing on the hill . Best two out there is Fury an Wilder .," If Fury was only 6 ft he would of never made it wit his style . But Fury is big . Just a slap from him would hurt . PS not saying Fury can't just how I cee it .

It’s hard to say. I see Joshua vs Ruiz as a genuine 50/50 fight, I think Joshua can do better, but also think a more confident Ruiz can do better too. I’ll be able to judge both boxers a lot better after the rematch.

I do not think Wilder has as much chance as the rest to unify the division, he already got beat by Fury, and expect a even more decisive win in the rematch.

For me Fury is the front runner to be the heavyweight that unifys the belts. He’s already beat Wilder, Ruiz is made for Fury in my opinion, Joshua might be able to beat him, will have to see a far better performance from the rematch though, and even if Joshua looks great again, I would still make Fury favourite to beat him.

Yes AJ an Ruiz I'm same hav to cee there rematch before I can pick one of da two.. Fury can beat Wilder . To me tho I had Fury an Wilder as a draw before it was announced as a draw . Half the world say's Fury won the other Half say's Wilder won .. I was disappointed with the rematch not happening straight away .. hope it happens next year or it never will .. cheers .

... partly because he will go out of his way to make the fights that need to be made to unify.

The others mentioned seem to go out of their way NOT to make the fights to unify the division.

whoever wins the Fury vs. Wilder rematch has that chance. Fury is the best of them all. The only thing I question about Fury is his motivation to go out there and fight hard for many fights in a row. It seems like he loses motivation. So I don't know if I see him as a long term titlist like a Larry Holmes. He has the potential.
