Lomachenko vs Campbell - Predictions

Result is the same regardless but the rounds were tight so wouldn't have begrudged a few more rounds to Campbell

 

Them cards are a disgrace. people will laugh but I had Campbell 1,3,4,12 and couldn’t split the 9th. I must know Jack **** Hahaha.

 

He did better than expected but still took a hiding. Campbell won’t be the same fighter after that.

 

I had the cards wide. I gave Campbell 3 rounds and one of them was generous. It sounds one sided, he just edged a lot of close rounds for me.

 

I actually stuck money on Campbell after 3 rounds

He tagged Loma with nice shots and what made me bet on him was the fact he was sliding in these beautiful bodyshots

With bodyshots landing its anyones fight, Loma took them so so well though because Campbell landed some beauties

At 8/1 odds i dont regret the bet, was super value

Campbell was brilliant, but Lomachenko is probably a great already. The fight was not close under ten point must, that is a flaw in that scoring system. Thus in context it was not a disgraceful decision.

For the record I had it 9-3; 117-110 with the knockdown.

 

I had Loma by no more than 2-3 rounds. As much as footwork is crucial its punches landed that fight should be scored on. There wasnt too much in it with punches landed. Dont get me wrong Lomo is a SBW/FW fighting at LW, genius.

 

Sky reporter made a pigs arse of that interview. Wonder if Eddie was peeved he didn’t get to say anything.

Lomachenko is not the best boxer in the world.

Credit to Campbell though for competing against a very good boxer.

 

Also I’m expecting some violent disagreement but I really think Gervonta Davis could knock Lomachenko spark out. He has the handspeed and power to do it. I think he is a very underrated fighter.

I think Loma’s team will avoid that fight for as long as possible. If there were three dream fights I could make happen in boxing right now, Tank Davis v Loma is one of them.

 

Terrible cards imo. Campbell fought terrificly well tonight. I genuinely dont think there was much in the fight. Campbell made him look quite ordinary at times.

Lomachenko is a great great fighter....who,s skill level is extremely high for that reason tho hes overhyped as a fighter. The way i,ve heard them talk about loma this week its like hes the best fighter we,ve ever seen. His skill level is up there with anyone but as a fighter he is overhyped. I say inoue,s a better fighter. Not as skilled but hes gonna be harder to beat than lomachenko.

 

Scoring was too wide but hats off to both for a really good fight. Campbell fought his own fight and was not at all overawed by the occasion or his opponent, who was brilliant at times I must say.

Loma is an incredible talent and Campbell can still win a World Title.

 

Thought Campbell had a bit of success to the body, however a lot of head shots were blocked where as Loma jab was excellent, some tight rounds! 118-109
