After Lomachenko's win over Campbell, Bob Arum stated Loma will only be fighting at 126, 130 and 135lbs and no higher than that. So in essence the Loma vs Garcia fight will all rest on whether or not Garcia wants to come back down to 135. It's something I definitely think he can do. We all knew and saw that he wasn't a natural welter and looked very fleshy on fight night, he even looked a little fleshy imo against Lipinets at 140. So I definitely think he has the ability to come back down in weight to 135, so I think it's all about how much he actually wants the fight.

After seeing the success Campbell had against Loma would Mikey be more interested in taking the fight, and how would you guys see it playing out?

I always considered Mikey Garcia to be Loma's biggest test at 135 and it was a shame it never happened. Now Mikey has bulked up and gone to 147 its never easy to just go back down 2 weights. Loma still got a few options for good fights at 135 plus there is the Tank fight (which i doubt happens).

It is a bit up to Garcia and whether he wants to drop back down and put himself in the mix at Lightweight and if it was to happen id look forward to it but i cant see myself betting against Loma against anybody below 140 right now but a fit and comfortable Mikey back at 135 would be his toughest fight no doubts in my mind.

It's if Mikey can make 135lb safely. That's the problem.

Loma really has found his limit weight wise, he gave away a lot to Campbell and got tagged a bit more than often (despite winning 10 rounds and hurting Luke multiple times)

Only fight if I was him I'd take higher is the Pacquiao fight, just for how big an event it would be

Loma will have problems with tall rangy fighters, who happen to be southpaws, Mike Garcia is a pudgy man, who doesnt have such traits.

Mikey can go down to 135 as long as the amount of the bait is right. Man like him only seek big money fight now.

He doesn't have any fight available in welterweight now. And it doesn't seem there is a world title match in 140 he can hop into at the moment. Loma is probably the only big name who wants to fight him.

But if Mikey got beaten by Loma, I think he'll retire.
