Id like to think the occasion gives this PPV status but all british promoter's are lacking in headliners so could be
I think once the mugs press the button once for him he's PPV till he ain't a cash cow for Edwina any more
The only point is for the dumb blonde and three stooges to earn a crust. For the viewer's perspective we get absolute pony
Certainly with his talent. There is no criteria now and even Dave Allen was only one fight away from being on PPV. All down to the cohort of mugths who keep paying
Got digs & travel booked, what will demand for tickets be like for this? Been to most of Taylor's fights in Glasgow where tickets are easy to get but not been to a big fight in London since the days of Benn, Naz, Eubank etc. Is it worth signing up of the Matchroom Fight Pass?
I'd imagine it would sell put pretty quickly and the ticket prices will be very expensive in comparison to his usual fights. I rekon about 150 for a half decent view. When I went to watch Dubois v Gorman the tickets I had in comparison to Whyte Rivas were over 200 quid less.
Okolie I agree - awful to watch! Burns - he is not main event + is a 3 weight world champ against another former world champ. But I think it'll be a cagey fight because of their styles. Doesnt excite me but not a bad fight for the bill
Okolie is bad to watch for sure but it's a big step up for the European title that he could lose.I've got a soft spot for ricky because it was his fight against martinez that really got me into boxing i didnt even know who he was tbh was pure coincidence i tuned into it.I know people have a low opinion of him on here but he has been a great servant to british boxing imo and i have no issue with this fight.Ultimately for me i couldn't bear to miss taylor v prograis so I'll be paying for it.
For fights over here, almost certainly. Seems like there’s only NXTGEN or PPV as options for anyone fighting for Matchroom in the UK now. Can’t even remember when their last ‘Fight Night’ card was.
I think josh win or lose will go back to headlining in Scotland after this.No chance of him becoming a stand alone ppv here.Might see him going to the u.s for big fights in the future hopefully.
Anyone know if Hearns has said when tickets are going online? Anyone from here going? @CutThroatFade @Jurgen
