Berbick could not fight. Void of boxing’s basics.

Not forgetting Bernando Mercado iced Berbick (admittedly a green Berbick but still...) out cold inside a round.

He was durable to a certain level but not impervious either. George hit plenty hard enough to get Berbick out of there before the mid way stage of the fight. As you said a bad stylistic match up for Berbick who although awkward and strong would be meeting a man who hit way harder, was super aggressive and even stronger physically again and Berbick lacked the ability of a Young or Ali to negate Foremans power.

Berbick was more durable than Norton.

Foreman would have a little trouble but would eventually crush Berbick.

I reckon Old Foreman vs Prime Berbick would be a fairer matchup

I think against boxers yes. But Berbick had a first round ko loss to Mercado, and of course Tyson knocked the hell out of him.

If Mercado knocked him out, prime Foreman would too imo.
