Last time they sold out the 21000 seater Manchester Arena, had over a million PPV buys and both have 20 million followers on YouTube. Now talk of BJS fighting on the undercard... tragic is so many ways
IIRC, the biggest audience was on Twitch, but they still did over a million buys on YouTube PPV. With Matchroom promoting it now, I doubt they will care about whichever platform the fans of KSI and Paul prefer.
Honestly, who are these two f****ing guys? I keep hearing about them, think they are you tube or reality stars I think someone mentioned, but never bothered to check? why do they box? ....and why is BJS on THEIR undercard??
Eddie's gonna find out, spotty little 15 year olds don't pay for ppvs. They illegally stream everything. Half the audience won't even have a f***n credit card.
I imagine they'll be recording themselves with one outstretched hand and using the other hand to punch.
I just watched a very brief highlight real of their fight. Tbf Logan Paul is actually not bad at all. He has fantastic physical attributes and his jab was decent for what he claims was three months' training. He does some decent stuff in amongst the wild swinging.
Celebrity boxing was fun for a while until James Cracknell got knocked spark out. For the first " fight " KSI weighed 187 lbs and Logan Paul 189 lbs with 10 oz gloves and no headgear I can see one of them getting seriously knocked out, especially as they tire. I have no problem with this as a stand-alone event, but putting world-class boxers on the undercard makes a mockery of the sport and you really have to question Eddie Hearns integrity. The undercard would be better suited with some kind of USA v UK prizefighter format for young pro's or adding Ryan Garcia to the bill. I really hope Billy Joe Saunders steers well clear of this, his reputation has been tarnished enough over the last 12 months.
Yeah I just watched the whole fight and Paul was decent for no experience in the first couple of rounds then he tired. He was just boxing the other guy with his jab. If he ups his fitness and has carried on training I think he will KO the other lad next time.
