Think kelly maybe one of most overrated "prospects " in the uk. Hes 25 got very lucky against Robinson who although has an awkward style he should be dealing with comfortably. He doesn't seem to carry much power and a may be wrong(very often am lol)but comes across dislikeable(fair enough you can market that where people will pay to see him lose), massive difference in levels between benn,Robinson to then guys like Garcia thurman porter spence manny crawford. Even likes of broner would be a huge step up for kelly . If he dropped to 140 think josh Taylor would absolutely batter him

Josh is from my home town and despite what's been said on here, he's a very likeable and humble kid out of the ring.
I've never been struck on his style in the ring and although i'd love to say he could go all the way, he will be exposed the higher he goes.
It's probably already started happening with his last fight.

So, rumour seems to be that Garton has been offered the Benn fight on the Taylor-Prograis card.

    Yes please.

Excluding Burns/Selby, that is gonna be some card, credit to Matchroom for a change, hopefully they carry on with cards like this, but less PPVs

That's already a big step up for Benn and a good fight. But if they offered him the fight, he should shut up or actually fight Kelly and take the beating that comes with it.

Agreed, although in that case they'd be overlooking Garton hugely.

I'd sooner see Garton v Benn than Kelly v Benn. It could be an absolute war and will show if Benn is even good enough at British level.

    So has Eubank Jr
So on that basis no child of a successful boxer should take up the sport?

I mentioned above about how he has been gifted a chance many others wouldnt ever get
    Most spectators recognise that
But he is for me a good watch
Never really in a boring fight and at the end of the day we all love some action

He has 1 or 2 legit wins on his resume now also
Nothing outstanding but solid considering his actual level

Enjoy him for what he is and i dont see an issue with him

When did Benn get 1 or 2 legit wins? Or do you mean Eubank Jr?

He had beaten 5 fighters with winning records, that's it. Currently 185 on BoxRec. Just another dude with an empty record living off a SD against someone who isn't any good themselves. Still Benn's best win for sure but I'm not prepared calling that a solid win personally. If he were to beat Garton then that I would ocnsider a solid domestic win for sure.

Noone is saying Benn is a world beater. Course he got a break because of his Dad but he's fun to watch and has a go, doesn't stink the place out

Benn has the heart of a lion and is entertaining to watch.

Everyone can see he has limited ability because of his lack of experience. I don’t like the Josh Kelly fight because it’s not an even enough match up.

I would rather see Benn try to win a domestic title and that involves beating Garton.
