I can see it working in boxing to a point, just for betting purposes. After a decision is made on the result of the fight the supervisor then has a 15 minute window to put the fight under review. If that is triggered a panel of experts then have a further 24 hours to come to a decision.

But as in Football it should only be used to decide matters of fact when deciding human error. Matters of opinion still needs to be in control of the fight officials, or else you open Pandora's Box.

As for the Premier League's VAR; it is working as planned. The problems come from poor officials not bad VAR.

I think the system is alright it's the idiots who run it that needs changing, it would have to be a independent panel in control because officials just stick together. I assume the premier league VAR use football officials because they haven't turned hardly any decisions around.

Can’t see it being feasible in a boxing ring. As someone previous pointed out- how this is above other priorities such as tackling PED’s or corrupt judging is ridiculous

So far as I know the BBBoC never mentioned that anything had changed. I don't expect anything to be looked into or released though

As far as I can see Hearn and Sulaiman have provided conflicting info about whether Instant Replay was in place for the fight. Sulaiman stated that there was an agreement with the board to have it in place and that he was on the panel, while Hearn suggested that because the foul was so blatant and everyone saw it on the replay, Sulaiman was justified in overturning the decision even though Instant Replay wasn't in effect.

All a bit of a shambles, even if the right outcome was reached in the end. Agree that we'll probably never get to the bottom of it.

I like it, how many times have blatant cheats got away with **** like low blows? Ward and Salido are perfect examples.

No if the fighter can't continue then it's a no contest.
