Lewis was beating Rahman prior to the knockout. That's the difference. There wasn't a single second where Joshua dominated Ruiz. Even with the knock of Ruiz, Ruiz got back up and knocked down Joshua within seconds. Joshua doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Lewis.
Totally different for two reasons. 1. Lennox Lewis is a great champion. 2. Lennox Lewis is a true student of the sport like many of the champions back then and unlike many of the champions now who rely mostly on physical attributes. Ruiz despite his poor eating habits also seems to be a student of the sport. The only chance AJ has is to overwhelm him with power which Ruiz proved he doesn't have an issue with.
For Lewis was harder than Joshua cause he was also heavily insulted by Rahman and they make a brawl on TV. The tension was skyrocketing...
People seem to think or believe Ruiz got lucky in the first fight. These people are in for a rude awakening. Id be more shocked if AJ won than if he loses again.
I can see it going either way. I need to see a repeat performance to confirm it wasn't a fluke. Joshua may be done, or he could fix that chin problem like Lewis and Klitschko did.
Not really a great deal in that. Love how people on here can deduce how the fights going to go from that. Would laugh if Joshua demolishes Ruiz and all the boxing experts on here saying he's finished after one loss have to eat crow. It's people like them that prevent the big fights from happening as fighters are so scared to lose there zero these days for pretty much that reason.
