I'm not talking about just the crowd. I'm talking about a boxer who is fighting in his own country. It's no brainer that a boxer will always be more comfortable fighting in his own country rather than fighting outside his country. ASK hatton and Calzaghe?!

They stepped up the level of comp when they fought outside their own country, hence their struggles.

But of course, I don't doubt they'd perform better with 50,000 screaming hoons in their ear urging them on. Hardly the case in Harada's fights.

Of course it makes sense. Instead of taking 6 months off, why not fight a keep busy fight to make sure you aren't rusty when you enter the ring again?

Seriously, this is a non-issue. Every great pre 1980 would have done something similar at some stage of their careers. To even be discussing it shows a lack of understanding of the times.

That's what I'm saying! HARADA had only three chances fighting abroad. and in those three times. He lost twice! He was not in his usual comfort zone - At home fighting in Japan!

    IT IS ON THE SUBJECT.

You are trying to shoot down a fighter over 1 fight to help your case well im showing to you that even the GOAT did it.You just wont/refuse. accept that the state of Boxing was different back then.

If it's HARADA it's none issue.
Fighting a boxer with 1-5-0 after a big fight is none issue. It's not cherry picking!!!

Pac fighting a champ on saturday and some haters still call him cherry picking?

    I don't get it?!

It's getting late! I'm out here!

He got robbed. If you saw the fights you'd be embarrassed to say what you are saying. I am from Australia and I will tell you right now that I had Harada beating Johnny by 5 points. Furthermore, even the parochial Aussie crowd booed the decision. What does that tell you?

Seriously, no one that has seen his fights with Famechon and Kingpetch would say that he didn't win them. They are up there with the worst decisions i have ever seen, and I have seen a LOT of boxing.

Harada's performance against Famechon, whilst we're talking, was one of his career best performances. He was already on the slide by that time, but found it in him to give one last great performance. He STEPPED UP when he left his homeland. The last thing you should be saying is how Harada struggled when he left Japan.

YES, it was different back then but it does not change the fact that
after a big fight with Jofre, Harada went cherry picking (1-5-0) record.

I don't know why it's hard to you guys to accept that it was cherry picking?!

How is it cherry picking? The implication of the term cherry picking is that you are picking up something sweet with no effort. WHAT YOU DON"T SEEM TO GET IS THAT NO STORE WHATSOEVER IS PUT ON HIM BEATING THAT GUY. NO ONE GIVES A **** ABOUT HIM! HE ADDS NOTHING TO HARADA'S LEGACY!

Like I said. Believe what you want to believe. If you think he was robbed so be it. Like some JMM fans would say. HE never lost! He was just robbed, incompetent judges etc..

We don't have to argue on everything!
