Hagler-Leonard has to be up there. Leonard showed better ring generalship, dictating the pace of the fight and leading the action, but the Marvelous One was landing more and dealing out the damage. I've found Mayweather-De La Hoya a pain to score, the same can be said for some of Oscar's other fights. Duran-Leonard II was pretty competitive until Roberto quit. Some of Holmes' fights, like his bouts with Spinks and Williams. Probably the toughest fight to score was the Norton-Ali trilogy, the last two fights to be specific. Very controversial.
Well, Ottke's fights were hard to score because the referees were always ruling knockdowns slips or taking points away from his opponent for hitting Ottke with straight punches to the face.
No doubt he benefited from some home cooking in Germany. He still was a very good boxer and one of the most decorated amateur fighters of all time.
Canelo-Golovkin 1 and 2. Over 24 rounds neither guy was able to take control or hurt their opponent, very few 'flush' punches landed, too many partially blocked or missing. Anybody who claims either fighter was robbed is biased, both fights could have gone either way and IMO Golovkin didn't really deserve to win the second fight, he must of known coming in that if the fight was close the judges would favour Canelo. So what did he do ?? Plod forward throwing single punches and taking zero risks, didn't learn from the first fight fight at all. Hopkins-Calzaghe has already been mentioned but it was tight, ugly fight (thanks to the racist idiot Bore-Hop). De La Hoya - Whitaker and Quartey Pac-JMM trilogy Morales-Barrera 1 (no it was not a robbery as some claim)
