Meet in the middle at 140 and I'd buy into that. Something tells me though, that's gonna be a fantasy fight discussed here in years to come....

There is no chance he was at 18% body fat for that fight. He didn't looked ripped but he obviously has a physique like Bellew where he doesn't show definition easily.

Exactly, well pac Thurman could beat him on any given night just like they could lose any given night.

Only Spence and TC beat every welter 100% of the time

People vastly underestimate bodyfat percentages. I’ll see people claim NFL players and boxers are 3%, which is absolutely ridiculous. Few bodybuilders ever even achieve 3%. Look up Andreas Munzer if you want to see what legit 3% looks like...he died by the way from his internal organs shutting down from all the drugs it took him to get into that kind of shape. Anyway, I stand by Mikey being around 18%. When I was a personal trainer, I measured countless people’s bodyfat over the years with both calipers and by hydrostatic underwater testing, which is the most accurate method. After that experience, along with years of bodybuilding myself, I’m pretty good at looking someone and being able to determine their approximate bodyfat percentage. Mikey was somewhere in the 15% to 18% range for the Spence fight. I would say Spence was in the 7% to 10% range.

I pick 140 because at 135 I have Loma and 147 Pacman. At 140, Manny has come down to a weight he's not made in years and Loma fighting in a division he's not his best at.

So Manny has got the power to hurt Loma; he clearly hits harder than Campbell and would let his hands go. Does he know any other way? But on the flip side Loma has the kind of movement which forces Manny to keep resetting; something which Mayweather used to good effect.

With not a great deal of confidence I would lean towards Loma because, when all said and done, Manny is a middle aged man and - let's be real - has lost more than a step from his peak years. Movement is his Kriptonite....

No need me asking who you got... lol

140 was weak when Crawford unified.

You're 100% right, but this is a guy who slammed pizza the day before his fight with Spence

    Refute what I’ve said then.

Outside of Spence in what fight above 135 was Garcia ever the underdog?

And also bar Spence which opponent was better or more problematic than that of him fighting Lomachenko?

I’m a fan of Mikey but he’s chasing easy paydays prior toSpence.

Stop being a fanboy and for the record Garcia can get the Ukrainian smoke anytime he wants....

    100%

Mikey wouldn’t even fight Linares when he had the chance. He’s a talented guy but has decided to throw away any legacy he had a chance of creating in exchange for $$$. Fighting Spence was a bad idea and it was obvious he just wanted to survive in the fight. Moral victory I guess.

At his age, getting back to 135 is going to be tough for Mikey. He can’t beat any top ten WWs, and I think he has a really hard time with top guys at 140. 140 was weaker not long ago but Taylor and Prograis give Mikey serious problems and I think either guy beats him. He can still compete at 140 but is not elite. If Mikey has given up hope of being a legit champ, he should campaign hard for the Manny fight because it might be his last big payday. Manny probably beats him worse than Spence. I think Spence took it easy on Mikey. This is not the ending I envisioned for Garcia but some will say, at least he got paid.

    Totally agree.

Especially regarding the current 140 roster, tbh I think he’ll chase the PAC payday, lose then retire.

The PAC fight is more likely than Mikey seeing 135 on the scale again. Fans cut him slack for losing to Spence, a guy no one who knows anything about boxing thought he could beat. They probably won’t give him another pass if he gets demolished by PAC.

I’m not even sure PAC would take the fight. Is there really big fan interest to see Mikey take another beating? His other option might be to drop to 140 and see if he can get the Prograis-Taylor winner. Mikey only wants big money fights and I don’t see anyone paying him to fight an unknown or lower ranked opponent. All of these fights are lower $ than the Pac fight. Loma already said 135 is his max limit and Mikey is a long way from 135. His head probably weights >50lbs these days.

Lomachenko will be the easiest fight in over a decade for Pacquiao. Pacquiao is the worst stylistic match up possible for Lomachenko. Lomachenko doesn't run and like Pacquiao has a genuine desire to entertain to entertain the fan. They will stand in front of each other and I don't believe that Lomachenko will hold up to Pacquiao's speed and firepower. NO ONE TRADES WITH PACQUIAO AND WINS. Much lesser men with slow handspeed and no special effects (angles, blistering speed) have landed on Lomachenko. I see Pacquiao badly hurting and/or KOing Lomachenko with the first flush left hand or right hook that lands. Glancing blows from Pacquiao have hurt much bigger men than Lomachenko. And Lomachenko doesn't pack the thudding concussive power of Marquez to deter Pacquiao from going balls to the wall. Pacquiao doesn't bat an eye at Lomachenko's shots. And Lomachenko will be the smaller man.

Pacquiao by KO the moment that he turns it up.

There's a difference between running and moving, though. Loma has a very active guard with a multitude of feints without coming too far out of range. Timing him is tough. But, yeah he can be found, agreed. Southpaw might be Manny's greatest asset because it limits the way Loma likes to pivot, as we saw (or didn't see, to be precise) vs Campbell.

It's a good fight! Make it....
